Smoke Grey Stained Concrete Patio with Industrial Sealer

Most patios start out looking plain and washed out. Raw concrete just sits there - no color, no finish, nothing that makes the space feel intentional. That's exactly the kind of surface we love working with, because the right stain and sealer can completely change how a space feels.

Here's what we were working with - a covered back patio attached to a brick home. Good bones, plenty of space, but the bare concrete wasn't doing the house any favors. We masked off the entire perimeter to protect the surrounding surfaces and got to work with a smoke grey concrete stain. The color pulls dark and moody near the center where the sealer reflects light, then fades into a softer grey toward the edges. The staircase leading down from the patio got the same treatment - same stain, same sealer, no shortcuts. Consistency like that matters.
