Not every job is a massive garage or a sprawling patio. Sometimes it's a front porch - a small space that every single person who visits your home walks across. And when that surface looks worn, stained, or just plain tired, it affects the whole feel of your entryway.

Here's what we were working with - a compact front porch with a plain concrete surface. The goal was to clean it up and give it a finish that actually matched the quality of the home itself. We applied a full flake epoxy system across the porch floor and down the step, using a gray speckled blend that pairs well with both the brick exterior and that bold blue front door.

The flake system does a few things at once. It hides surface imperfections in the existing concrete, adds a layer of durability that bare concrete just doesn't have, and gives the whole entryway a polished, intentional look. The texture also adds grip underfoot, which matters on a step that sees rain and foot traffic.

One thing we want people to know - we do small spaces. A front porch, a side entry, a utility room floor. The same quality process we bring to a full garage gets applied to a job like this. No shortcuts because the square footage is lower.

If your front entry has been an afterthought, it doesn't have to stay that way. A flake epoxy coating is one of the most straightforward upgrades you can make to your home's exterior, and the results speak for themselves.
